Reckitt Benckiser - Interactive Team Event
Whole company, day time - incentive & team building Following a record year of sales and profits, Reckitt Benckiser Australia held a whole company celebration and team building day. Based at Darling Harbour, they sought an interactive team event which would provide challenge and fun, encourage them to work as one group, and build relationships across company divisions. In conjunction with Avanti Events, we adapted Team about Town to suit the theme and logistics of the day. ‘Feel it, Find it, Live It’ was born, and kicked off after lunch with an actor posing as Rog Dallad, spiritual guru who engaged 180 people with an interactive meditation. After teams were divided and briefed on the treasure hunt experience, they set off in 15 sailing boats around Sydney Harbour. Along the way, clues were found as groups interacted with actors and the final prize was a piece of a large mural jigsaw puzzle.

Thomson Legal - Interactive Theme Entertainment
Whole company, evening - incentive and team fun
Thomson Legal took their whole company on an annual kick off retreat to the Hunter Valley. To celebrate another successful year, they wanted to celebrate with interactive theme entertainment. Following the success of the previous years ‘A Meeting with Murder’ with DaPo, they chose Team Bond as this year’s big night out. Actors engaged with them over pre-dinner drinks to warm up the crowd, 007 props and trivia added some spice and then the secret missions culminated in great displays of extraverted fun between groups. The night was a raging success.

Southern Star Sales - Interactive Workshopping
Executive sales conference, multi day - learning and fun
Southern Star Sales is an international team of media sales executives. For their annual conference, CEO Cathy Payne wanted to recognise the great efforts in achieving targets, have lots of fun, and encourage learning and insights that each could take back to their work around the globe. A customised program was developed and facilitated by DaPo. Interactive workshopping was conducted during the 2 day conference which focussed on Inter-team communication via email, diversity of style and dealing with change. As well, the energy was varied with The Team Game woven in layers during the program, culminating in a high impact finale’.

Ernst & Young - Interactive Team Event
Management conference, evening - team building and bonding
Ernst & Young’s graduate training involves a multi day residential program which provides leadership development and network building. To lift the camaraderie and relationship building to new levels, A Meeting with Murder is used as a great catalyst and a memorable night of learning and fun. The Murder incorporates interactive, high energy entertainment with a wide range of leadership and team behaviours, woven into a highly memorable experience for all.

Vodafone - Outdoor Team Challenge
Field sales team, multi day - stretch out of comfort zones
Vodafone’s retail field sales team are located around the country, and their national conference is an important opportunity to align, focus and energise the team. The role is constantly challenging and so the group leaders wanted to emphasise stretch beyond their comfort zones, using an outdoor experience as a catalyst. DaPo adapted The Team Game as a total 2 day outdoor experience. Groups took responsibility for separate major components of their outdoor adventure, and competed against other teams to achieve the highest levels of customer focus, innovation and delivery. From the outset, the group was fully engaged and became remarkably resourceful and creative given the challenges of an outdoor experience. The debriefing back at Terrigal Crown Plaza revealed profound group and individual learning.

Disney/ Buena Vista - Interactive Entertainment
Customer product launch, day/night
To support the launch of Cabaret on DVD, Disney/ Buena Vista wanted to include something different to add colour, fun and energy to their series of customer events. DaPo designed a customised Theme Trivia event, incorporating Cabaret characters, music and product knowledge. The low key format enabled customers to enjoy a tasteful event with encouragement to join in the fun. The feedback was extremely positive to the client

Schwarzkopf - Interactive Team Entertainment
Customer incentive gala dinner – memorable fun
A major conference held every 2 years for all of Schwarzkopf’s customers had to go bigger and better than the previous one. Held in Sydney at Dockside, Darling Harbour, the gala dinner needed a large injection of fun, and loud, memorable entertainment. Axis Events, the conference organiser chose A Meeting with Murder and incorporated woven a 20’s theme. The colourful characters, cabaret entertainment and improvised interaction with this large group of extraverts proved a great combination and the evening was rated a resounding success by Schwarzkopf’s senior management, and by AXIS events.
