 For an outdoor team building experience that’s big on fun and competition, Beat The..Games™ is a great option. It incorporates a balance of athletic, skilfull and down right silly activities into a round robin competition.
Team groups are divided into ‘ ‘houses’ and like old fashioned sports days, this helps create a sense of identity and team camaraderie. Activities are custom designed from a wide range of options, including more competitive and energetic activities along with more creative and relaxing events.
Modified rules and variations ensure the right atmosphere is created, and enable maximum participation from all. For example, Beat the Spike allows 4 teams to play volleyball on one quad court, and Beat The Flight is a great variation of ultimate frisbee for the young at heart.
Depending on the time allocated to Beat the Games™, the competition can build across a couple of rounds, or house competitions can be woven in amongst individual team events.
The level of competitiveness can also vary, with teams encouraged to play out their competitive spirit, or the emphasis can be on ‘everyone’s a winner’.
The program is delivered through 2 phases. In the planning phase, we work closely with your conference organisers to ensure that the style, tone and level of events are well suited to your group and what you hope to achieve. Then, on the day, our team of professional game facilitators keep your group on track, and the program design keeps groups moving along like clock-work.
By the end of the afternoon, your group will look forward to a well earned drink, as they bask in their team’s glory and enjoy the camaraderie that is built so well through shared experience of games and physical fun.
