Beat the.. Bank

A leading international Merchant Bank brought together their Australasian team for a weekend of focus and fun.

The brief for a team building afternoon was for a fun, active and engaging program that would appeal to the competitive nature of this group of high achievers.

There was no rest for the wicked during an action packed afternoon of Beat The.. Games™.

Beat The.. Games™ incorporates a balance of athletic, skilfull and down right silly activities into a round robin competition.

The group of 150 people were divided into 4 houses, with 4 smaller teams from each house meeting at different activities and competing against other house teams.

Creative activity design saw events like Volleyball and Ultimate Frisbee getting a make over, so that 4 teams could compete at once.

A first round of activities saw each team compete against 3 others in all 6 events. This was followed by a finale’ involved a House Tug of War competition for which houses selected their representative teams.

Points were awarded for first, second and third places across the 16 teams and these were added to the success of a trivia night the previous evening. That evening during dinner, points and placings were announced and special awards presented.

The energy, camaraderie and fun of the event provided a significant boost to the group, and the overall conference outcomes.

The Director of Marketing and Communications said..

“We had an excellent afternoon. Our people really enjoyed themselves and the program provided a great balance of activities.  DaPo Conference Events did a great job of designing and delivering a smooth running day for a very demanding audience. We highly recommend them”
