Sheraton investigates its clients with CTI™

At the exclusive Sheraton On The Park, 60 guests were recently invited to a customer show case event.

The sales and marketing team wished to provide a memorable evening for their customers, as well as plenty of networking opportunities.

CTI™ was chosen to facilitate the ice-breaking, networking and interactive entertainment.

Working closely with DaPo, Sheraton was able to customise the event to ensure that the venue was well showcased.

Participants were invited with a CSI inspired theme to create intrigue and this facilitated excellent attendance by key clients.

Upon arrival, guests enjoyed pre dinner drinks on the Terrace overlooking the trees of Hyde Park, with forensic characters mingling amongst the crowd obtaining finger prints and personal particulars. Then with the arrival of Inspector Niel Briation, CTI got underway, and forensic sleuthing was the order of the night.

Placed in team's with strangers can be out of comfort zone for some, but the initial start up phase of the game provides a low key, yet fun way for groups to engage. Next, groups visit 3 different crime scenes around the venue and engage with the team of whacky forensic detectives at each site and this fully emerses participants into the fun scenario of the event.

The unique CTI™ structure encourages groups to interact with others as they learn about other team's suspects, and this facilitates excellent networking across the entire group. This occurs during meal time, in between courses, with plenty of cross table mingling.

At Sheraton on the Park, Staging Connections provided excellent A/V support, and CTI characters sang cabaret style, encouraging the brave amongst the group to have a go on stage.

To conclude the evening, winning groups and individual efforts were acknowledged with prizes and the showcase event rounded off with brief thank you's from Sheraton on the Park management.

Catherine Comino, Business Development Director - Sheraton On The Park said

"The format of CTI™ allowed us to connect and engage with our customers on the night, a group of extremely experienced and discerning industry professionals. We were also able to showcase key areas of Sheraton On The Park's refurbishment.

The feedback from participants highlighted the unique and creative nature of the event, and allowed us to achieve our objectives for the evening"
